This week Chelsea and Steven came to visit the studio. I have had the privilege of knowing both of them for years through youth rodeo. They are both college students and Steven decided to have their pictures made together as a gift for Chelsea before she left to start a new adventure in college up at Marshall. They are the cutest couple and so much fun to work with! I wish you both the best this year in your studies, in the rodeo arena and with each other. Thanks for letting Backroads be part of this special time in your lives.

Rachel....2008 Senior ambassador
Meet Rachel my senior ambassador for Fordland High school. I had the opportunity to take Rachel's senior pictures this weekend and even with this heat we had it much cooler than most senior pictures taken this time of year. She had a great place picked out to take her pictures and she was accompanied by her two horses IOU and Belle. We got some unique water shots and I enjoyed working with Rachel and her family in the cool creek. Rachel, you have a stunning smile, thanks for choosing Backroads to capture it!

Meet China
She was new to the studio this week and my first senior student ambassador for 2008! She was so much fun to work with and so cute too! China brought her friend Simone and we had a lot of fun doing the "urban" thing. China will be back in next week for some more outside shots and her studio shots, I can't wait to work with her again. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of whats to come. Thanks for being my first senior ambassador China!
Before we left on vacation
I had the opportunity to work with some new faces and some that I have worked with before. I was busy trying to get their galleries up and didn't get them on the blog. So, without further delay meet Myra and Jeffrey, they were so cute together. They both had the most incredible blue eyes!
The Nanneman family. What a beautiful family and I was able to get some family shots and some of the boys playing.

Here are the last few from vacation that I will be posting.
These 4 shots are first light going into Yellowstone National park. It was absolutley beautiful there at dawn. I am now officially done with all the vacation shots that I planned on posting. All of these shots are straight out of camera shots, I haven't even begun the editing process of my favorites. I hope you have enjoyed looking as much as we have enjoyed sharing with you.

One of the shots that Mike got of a geyser erupting with the geese watching nearby. Stunning!
If you look real close, you will see Tate at the bottom of the waterfall. Yep, it scared me too when I looked down and saw where he was!
Mike and Tate take a little dip in Yellowstone river to cool off and have some fun.
BEAR!

and Mr. Jack (we could have stayed and talked to him all day.) What a wonderful man with great stories to tell.
