It's pumpkin time!

The hay bales are placed, the pumpkins are waiting to be carved and the fall leaves are coming down. It is fall inside the studio and out! We are now starting our seasonal bookings with the fall backgrounds. We have a beautiful fudgy brown backdrop set up complete with hay bales, fall leaves and pumpkins. I am running a fall special........just $30.oo for (1) 8x10, (2) 5x7's and (8) wallets all of the same pose on the fall backdrop (photographer's choice). Call for appointment availability as we are booking up fast for October.

DON'T FORGET IT IS ALMOST THE CHRISTMAS SEASON:

Soon we will be replacing the fall backdrop with the winter set up and getting ready for Christmas season in the studio. We will be running a special for the holiday season too for your children's Christmas pictures. Christmas cards will be available this year and we will be taking the Christmas pictures starting around the first of November and be ending by the first of December so that you will have time to get them in the mail and also have prints available for Christmas presents for friends and family! This will be set up for the month of November and as always, if you are wanting outdoor location shots, that is always available at Backroads by Lynda!

Isaac was back

Isaac came back to the studio this week and had several new shots. Boy has he grown in just the past few months. He is walking and a beautiful, busy boy. We did some nautical themed birthday pictures as well as his pictures for his upcoming baptism. We also got several fall shots with the pumpkins. I think he had a great time! What a smile!!! Congratulations on your baptism Isaac.

Meet Kara

Kara is a senior from Columbia and was so photogenic! We had a great morning and we were able to find some wonderful places in Columbia to shoot. I had a great time with Kara and her Mother as well as getting to spend some quality time with my brother and his family. What a great way to spend the weekend! Thanks Kara for picking Backroads by Lynda for your senior session.

The Hanafin family

Denise and I got to take the Hanafin's family pictures. It was so nice getting to meet everyone and share in their family fun and get some pictures of all of them together to enjoy!

It's cross country time

and the Irish of Springfield Catholic are off to a great start, even in the rain. Here are a few of the Irish in action.

China and Simone were back

China came back to get her studio images finished and to get a few more outdoor shots too. Once again we had a blast and I felt so lucky to be her photographer. We got some great shots to work with and she and Simone had fun in the process. I got a few of Simone by herself and a bunch of the two of them together. There is just nothing like having a best friend to bring out the best pictures! Thanks for coming over and letting me be part of your Senior year ladies!

More fun times at the fair

Whew, trying to catch up here

Boy am I behind on blog posting, so let's get right to it. It has been a very busy month around here. School has started and we are seeing our fair share of Seniors lately. The Billings fair has also taken place since I posted last and that kept me pretty busy too. I worked in the arts and crafts display area, so I had the perfect job to see all the lovely crafts and artwork coming into town. I also shared a booth space this year with my friend Denise and between the two of us and Mike, I think we were able to photography most of the activities of the fair. Here is a sampling of the Billings fair.
